Lots of mysterious stuff happening in the UK.

So apparently there is now FURTHER evidence of occult activity in these here woods. They've discovered an Egyptian style clay statue, apparently it was buried face down in the ground, found by a man walking his dogs.

Ain't it always the way though?

Earlier they had found a copper plate with "magical" writing on it that turns out to be 16th century Enochian, reading "For to his remembrance, is given power, and our strength." and there's a name, DOVIOM.

The statue is supposed to be Anubis. Mysterious baby. Mysterious.

Police nab prophet over mysterious death

This is a weird one out of Africa. A man who was supposed to be going to an over night church service, a baptism ceremony.

When they found the body organs were missing, the eyes and the tongue. They knew that he didn't drown from the condition of the body. Almost as if he was used in a ritual. And then discarded.

Police have the prophet in custody.

This story is out of Pakistan and it is damn strange. Apparently for 12 years now this one village has been suffering from a contagious hiccup disease. That starts in April and lasts for months. One woman starts hiccuping and then suddenly all the women in the village are hiccuping.

You figure it out man.

This news report is about how the story is going to be on a TV show, but the story is fucked. The family disappeared, leaving behind their dogs and eggs on the counter.

Eggs on the counter. I don't even know what that means or why that matters.

No email, cell phone or bank account activity since they disappeared.

A whole family of four, gone, like that. I get such a creepy, disturbing horror movie vibe from this story. Anyway it ends, it's not pretty. But it is mysterious.

This is, of course, from the UK, where I find most of the mysterious light stories.

A 34 year old woman saw the fireball in the sky, from her living room. It wasn't making a sound and it wasn't an airplane on fire.

"It got closer and then moved off to the left and disappeared out of view. It was so cloudy I was surprised I could see it at all, but it was so bright. It was amazing."

Apparently in June this borough saw 30 bright white lights moving in the sky.

Apparently the US isn't the only country with bullshit answers to UFO sightings. The RAF's answer, "Chinese lantern".

Mysterious truck traffic has neighbors concerned

I love stories like this. Little strange little nothings of a story. The report comes from a, "a", as in one resident who wrote a letter about all the truck traffic coming and going from some estate.

It could be something innocuous or it could be somebody stumbled onto a giant, insane, crazy conspiracy. Land development or clone shipping?

Healdsburg man's mysterious death won't be solved

Ok. So they found this 64 year old man, burned to death in his truck.

Overnight residents said they heard what they thought were gunshots. But there were no bullets found or casings.

It could have been the truck exploding.

But why did the truck explode? No leads. No witnesses. No other vehicles.

Is this just "one of those things"?
