A shadowy duo is paying the checks of complete strangers at a New York eatery. I love saying "New York Eatery", it sounds so, new york-y. I feel like there should be a law against this. Guilty rich folks who pick up the tabs of complete strangers are worse than people who skip out on their bill completely. I'm sure they think they're doing the world a favor, but really they're just spoiling already spoiled people. I mean really. It's not like they're hanging out at a soup kitchen hitting people with free hams. They're eating at a fancy restaurant, er, what I imagine to be a fancy restaurant, I mean, every restaurant in New York is fancy right? But yeah, whatever. Mysteries abound. This is like the who is Banksy mystery, but more food oriented.
