Mystery gray whale sighted again off Spain coast

Paging Captain Ahab, your obsession is calling.

First off gray whales were thought to be extinct, so this is like, the opposite of most of the other mysterious news animal posts, you know, about animals dying en mass.
It went extinct in the 17th or 18th century for reasons unknown and now has appeared, for reasons unknown.
It's heading south at a slow pace, they don't know where it's going, but hey, let's hear it for a little positivity.
